Privacy Policy
Effective June 16, 2026
Hydra Materials (“Hydra,” “we,” “us”) operates an online marketplace that connects buyers, suppliers, and haulers of construction materials. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Hydra Materials (the “Service”) you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google Account.
- Company & profile information. Details you add or claim about your company — materials, locations, service areas, and contact information.
- Marketplace activity. Job requests, quote requests, quotes, and messages you send through the Service.
- Usage & device data. Log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, used to operate and secure the Service.
How we use Google user data
When you sign in with Google, we use the basic profile information Google provides solely to create and authenticate your account — to identify you, display your name, and contact you about your account and marketplace activity. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use your information
- To provide the Service — create your profile, match buyers with suppliers and haulers, route quote requests, and deliver quotes and messages.
- To communicate with you about your account, requests, and quotes.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
- To improve and develop the Service.
How we share information
- With other users. To make a match, we share relevant request, quote, and contact details between the buyers, suppliers, and haulers involved in a transaction.
- Service providers. Vendors who help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, email delivery, authentication), under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal. When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account at any time.
Your choices & rights
- Access, update, or delete your account information by contacting us.
- Revoke Google access at any time in your Google Account permissions.
- Opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link.
Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is for business use and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
