Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Hydra Materials (“Hydra,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the Hydra Materials marketplace and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Hydra Materials is a marketplace that helps buyers, suppliers, and haulers of construction materials discover each other, exchange requests for quotes, submit quotes, and communicate. Hydra is a venue that connects parties; we are not a party to any transaction between users, do not process payments, and do not supply, transport, or guarantee any materials, pricing, quality, or delivery.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract, and you use the Service for business purposes.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account and company information and for activity under your account.
• Keep your login credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized use.

3. Claiming a company profile

Some company listings are created from public information. If you claim a listing, you represent that you are authorized to act for that company. We may verify claims (for example, by matching your work-email domain) and may approve, reject, or revoke a claim at our discretion.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not post false, misleading, infringing, or unlawful content.
• Do not impersonate others or claim a company you are not authorized to represent.
• Do not scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service.
• Do not use the Service for spam or to harvest others’ contact information.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant Hydra a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and use that content to operate and promote the Service. You are responsible for your content and the requests, quotes, and messages you exchange.

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that matches, quotes, suppliers, or haulers will meet your needs, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You deal with other users at your own risk and are responsible for vetting any counterparty and transaction.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hydra will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed US $100.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Hydra harmless from claims arising out of your content, your transactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
